October Peak
This week has been the busiest of the year so far for The Collectv with a number of jobs happening across Europe.
We started the week flying straight from Japan to Russia while trying to avoid the typhoons, for Sky Sports F1 with Timeline Television, for the debut Russian Grand Prix in Sochi.
Meanwhile we have had a team in Dublin working on the week long World Grand Prix of Darts for Sky Sports. Using our latest system, which has seamlessly integrated into CTV OB’s infrastructure to help provide fast stable turn around edits, media management and prep stations. Halfway through the week we saw a stunning match with two nine-darters from a single match for James Wade and Robert Thornton, from a competition that had only ever seen one nine-darter previously!
Our consultancy work at BBC has continued with the successful delivery of the first DPP compliant programme going to air on Sunday 12th October, The Antiques Roadshow. Also our first long-form logging, record and edit solution based at an independent production company in the south of England has been carrying on, now well into their edit schedule, we will be releasing more details on this soon.
At the same time we’re providing people for Horse of the Year Show for Sky Sports at the LG Arena in Birmingham, working closely alongside our friends at Telegenic. Who will be crowned Leading Show Jumper of the Year at The World’s Most Famous Horse Show on tonight’s live programme?
