The Road to PyeongChang 2018

Last week, we visited NBC Sports in Stamford, Connecticut in order to begin our planning for the PyeongChang Winter Games in South Korea next year. The Collectv are supplying NBC with 2 Project Engineers, who will look after all EVS installations for the forthcoming event. This includes all EVS systems in the IBC and venues, as well as supervising Avid integration and file transfer workflows across multiple sites.

As always with NBC, all the latest technology is in use, and we'll be working at the bleeding edge of file-based workflows. The sheer scale of the operation is always amazing, and seeing all of the equipment for PyeongChang humming away in NBC's basement is nothing short of mesmerising!
