Duel in the Desert

From the cold of Wolverhampton to the warmth of the Middle East, what a difference a week makes! And as this biggest-ever season of F1 draws to a close, we're left with some amazing memories, and lots of new friends from Italy and Germany, this being the first year that the UK, Italy and Germany have worked together as part of a large 'Sky Europe' team.

The season ends in Abu Dhabi, and the Drivers' Championship comes right down to the wire. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg will fight it out under the lights at the Yas Marina Circuit to see who will be crowned 2016 World Champion. All eyes will also be on Jenson Button and Felipe Massa, who both retire from the sport this weekend.

For us, we've had a great year working for Gearhouse Broadcast, providing workflow consultancy, media management, ingest and engineering services for all of the 21 races. There's lots of maintenance to do over the winter break, but we'll be back for Round 1 in Melbourne before we know it!
